Boarding

paw2.jpgBOARDING SERVICESpaw2.jpg

Our interior boarding facility is equipped with a climate controlled heating and cooling system to ensure the comfort of your pet regardless of the outside temperature. We get very busy on some weekends and holidays and boarding slots fill quickly. We highly recommended scheduling boarding reservations as far in advance as possible. For holiday weekends, prepayment for boarding may be required to hold a boarding reservation.  Should the reservation be cancelled 72 hours before the boarding appointment, there will be a full refund. Should the reservation be cancelled inside of 72 hours before the boarding reservation there will be a charge of one night boarding.

Boarding Policies

Check-in and Check-out: Check-in & check-out times for boarding is between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Boarding fees are assessed on a nightly basis.  During the week there may be a small wait while we check in our surgery patients.

Please call ahead to reserve a spot! Sunday pick up is available at approved times and prepayment is required if the pet is to be picked up outside of normal business hours.

Personal Belongings: Personal belongings such as a towel, blanket and no more than 2 toys may be left along with your pet's preferred food and treats. If food is not provided, your pet will be fed a Purina diet that is designed to not disrupt the digestive system. We do not accept large beds or leashes. We make every effort to keep your pets' belongings clean; however, we are not responosible for damages to belongings that make occur.

Parasites: All pets must be free of external parasites before entering the boarding area and will be thoroughly inspected by the staff. Should we find fleas or ticks on a pet, the pet will be bathed and/or treated with anti-flea or tick medication at the owner's expense.

Vaccines: Documentation stating that your pet is current on all vaccinations must be provided prior to boarding.  For our canine patients this includes Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella.  For our feline patients this includes Rabies, FVRCPC and Leukemia.  These vaccines can be given on site, but it is recommended that they be given one to two weeks prior to boarding for optimum protection.

DAY BOARDING

We also offer day boarding should you need to drop off your pet while running errands and don't want them left alone at home. If that sounds like something you would be intersted in, then our "Day Care Services" are for you. While they are here, they will be fed, waterered, walked and cared for as if they are our own pets. At Stoneridge Animal Hospital, your pets are our family!
