Spaying & Neutering

Spaying (Ovariohistorectomy) and Neutering (Orchiectomy) are recommended for all pets that will not be used for breeding purposes.  These procedures prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens and also prevent many problems that the animal could face as a result of aging.  The procedures are performed on an outpatient basis with the pet arriving at the hospital in the morning and going home in the afternoon.
