Red Flag Rules
Beginning in August 2009, the Federal Trade Commission (FDC) is instituting a plan to prevent identity theft in the marketplace. This plan, better known as the "Red Flag Rule", is designed to protect the identity of all consumers. To be compliant with the rules that have been set forth, all businesses will be required by law to design a comprehensive plan to prevent any form of identity theft. Stoneridge Animal Hospital will be taking the neccessary steps to ensure that the personal identity of all clients is protected.
